Phil Chabot

General Manager

Phil Chabot

Phillip, the eldest of the siblings, gained much of his business acumen growing up in the midst of a thriving family business.  He was schooled and trained as a mechanical engineere, yet Phillip aspired to create a legacy for the family’s “next generation” and sought the most diverse of opportunities to include all of his siblings.  These aspirations lead to the creation Farmington Gardens.

Phillip visited the property of Lexington Gardens many times as a customer buying flowers for his mother on trips home from college.  Later in 2009, he revisited the property as venturist exploring sites for an upscale brewery and restaurant. During the initial exploration, and as times had it, Phillip had attended many weddings for college friends.  He realized after attending several of these weddings as a guest, that he could provide a far more exclusive and unique experience by serving gourmet meals, delivering professional service and offering a venue for single day wedding events.  Coincidentally (or perhaps not), the sibling resume included a culinary school chef, a certified bartender and a financier.  Eureka! The plans were finalized and the old Lexington Garden site was fully restored to Farmington Gardens.

Acting as General Contractor, Phillip designed many of the features of the property, including the eclectic landscape and the grand entry way.  He consulted with local development professionals and event specialist to maximize usage of the grounds, efficiency of space and utilities and customization of layout and decor to accommodate events of all expectations.

Phillip Chabot has capitalized in a market of hackneyed and predictable venue experiences by delivering a much desired atmosphere of chic design, versatility and 5-star quality.

Phillip is the acting general manager, working in all aspects of the business and is normally seen present at all events. Phillip specializes in procuring corporate and non-profit events.

Phillip is actively involved in the local community and serves as a director for both the Farmington Rotary International Club and Chamber of Commerce.
